Ryzen CPU发行至今已经进入第二代,其多核心的强悍效能表现让消费大众刮目相看,也提高使用者转换阵营的愿意; 过往AMD相对弱势的单核效能,随着时间推进与AMD的工程师们的努力,不久的未来第三代Ryzen也即将发表,单核效能的增长值得引颈期待。

相对于Intel来说,面对Ryzen的多核数量优势与单核效能逐步提昇,也有不能输的压力,推出i9正面迎击Threadripper的挑战。至于哪个平台有优势?在文章最后会有总结。

测试手法

主要聚焦于CPU多核数据表现、温度状态以及目前多核心主机板CPU供电的重要性,再透过影片转档模拟现实环境下的严苛测试。
AMD与Intel平台皆透过BIOS设定为预设值,记忆体时脉、时序从XMP直接套用,水冷风扇透过BIOS设定为Turbo mode。

小结:
i9 在原价屋的报价为新台币17500元、Threadripper 2920X报价为新台币20699元,从『每单位核心的成本』来说TR4是相对便宜,以Cinebench R15的分数来计算,TR4多核心效能多出约32%;CPU-Z多核心效能更提昇40%、i9 CPU-Z单核小赢10%。
TR4主机板供电一定要插满两个CPU 12V供电,最好是Power原生线材,不透过转接。否则在高负载下,线材有过热熔毁的机率。电源供应器建议使用750W以上,高瓦数才提供双CPU供电。
从手上这两张主机板丰富性来观察,X399水準相对高于Z390一大截。X399 CPU供电提供双风扇降温、额外提供Debug液晶面板方便追蹤故障原因、提供整体的RGB灯光效果。支援Type-C与满满USB3.1/USB3.0 port。除了一般的1G LAN,更提供少见的10Giga LAN。
针对转档测试温度表现来说,要注意主机板的CPU供电稳定度,长期高负载使用,建议强化该区域的散热。Z390虽然为10相供电,其转档过程中,用手触碰供电散热片已经是烫手的程度。X399的CPU供电散热与用料不需要操心,正面有双风扇提昇稳定度、主机板背面有大面积散热背板强化。
整体来说AMD提供很有竞争力的产品,假设因为预算不足使用TR 19XX,未来升级还是能够使用原有的X399主机板。以AMD过往佛心的策略来说,第三代的Threadripper有很高机率直接支援。
